Near-Infrared Detector

The NIR detektor FL-1081 from Horiba, equipped with a Hamamatsu H10330-75 photomultiplyer tube with InP/InGaAs photocathode, allows the detection of fluorescence spectra in the near infrared region. This wavelength range (950-1700 nm) is important for application in telecommunication (information transfer in fibre optics) and biomedicine (optical window of tissue). With this detector, it is possible to investigate NIR-emitting nanomaterials like PbS, CuInTe2 or InAs.

  • 950-1700 nm spectral range
  • Peltier cooling
  • 200 ps temporal resolution
  • Emission monochomator with a 600 mm-1 grating (1000 nm blaze angle)

This instrument was financed by the state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the European Union in the framework of the  EFRE-Programme.
